Compensation

PreschoolRock.com topic writers and regional correspondents are able to make regular pay, as well as generate ad revenue through direct and affiliate advertisers, with our new pay structure just launched in August. In addition, you are free to promote yourself and your works, which may include any children's books you have written, related products you have patented, and any business ventures you are pursuing. Note: Compensation does NOT apply to guest writers.

Please read our advertising fee schedule. If you have questions about the compensation, please contact the Executive Editor before applying.

Regular Pay

Writers meeting specific requirements, which include writing thirty articles per calendar quarter, qualify for the Base Pay Guarantee or the Ad Revenue Share, whichever is higher. See below.

Base Pay Guarantee

The Base Pay Guarantee amount is based on the number of websites the writer manages. Writers managing one website may qualify for $100 per quarter. Writers managing two websites may qualify for $150 per quarter.

Network Revenue Share*

The Network Revenue Share percentage is based on the length of contract and the number of websites the writer manages. Percentages range from 1%-22% of PreschoolRock.com's total net revenue. The Network Revenue Share includes revenue from SchoolRock, Inc., Preschool Rock Moms Internet Radio Show and PreschoolRock.com.

*The Exective Editor, as well as online ad sales reps seek business partnerships for the network so our writers can focus on writing instead of marketing; however, if the writer refers businesses to PreschoolRock.com that purchase advertising, we will pay the writer Referral Pay. See below.

Referral Pay

Business Referral
When writers refer businesses to the netwrk for advertising, writers receive 30% of the gross advertising fee.

Writer Referral

When a contracted writer refers another writer to PreschoolRock.com and the referred writer's site is officially launched, the contracted writer will receive $50.

Affiliate Advertisers

Writers set-up free accounts with affiliate advertising programs, and then select the ads for their sites from companies most relevant to their topic. When readers click through the ads and make purchases from these companies, the writer is paid a commission directly from the affiliate company. The amount of commission varies and depends upon the affiliate advertiser.
